A Spiritual Gifts Assessment or Evaluation is a good way to help you see which Spiritual Gifts you
have received from God. Some gifts are very obvious and some are more subtle, all are of great value.
Read the following introduction to Spiritual Gifts and then take the online test.
- Spiritual Gifts, supernatural abilities given by the Holy Spirit, are given to everyone who is a
believer in Jesus Christ. (All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them
to each one, just as he determines. 1 Corinthians 12:11 NIV)
- They are designed by God and given to individuals so that everyone benefits-Spiritual Gifts make
you a gift to other believers in a particular and practical way. (Now to each one the manifestation
of the Spirit is given for the common good. 1 Corinthians 12:7 NIV)
- Spiritual Gifts are given not just to fill out our spiritual resume, but to serve each other and
apply the grace of God in different ways. As we use our gifts, we should not be the focus, God
should get the praise. (Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully
administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the
very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all
things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever.
